After years of operation, the communication between various field devices in the photovoltaics Colleferro installations became impossible due to a significant amount of electrical noise and the deterioration of the lines, which exceeded the maximum limits. After a careful analysis of the problem, the causes were identified, and the necessary modifications were made to fully restore communication. This allowed the customer to avoid costly excavations and/or data line replacements.

Creation of new PLC SW for biaxial trackers

In about ten 1MW power FTV plants, the obsolescence of some devices has forced the owners to replace the PLCs that controlled the solar trackers with new ones. It was therefore necessary to develop a new software to manage the motors, alarms and signals.
In addition to this, the photovoltaic systems have been equipped with a supervision system capable of guaranteeing remote control of the position of the trackers and receiving alarms in case of malfunctions.
