We have implemented a monitoring system and data transmission using the IEC60870-5-104 protocol to the central system (LMC) for the power generation plant, with a nominal capacity of 1.65GW, at Benban Solar Park. Through our monitoring system and user-friendly web interface, the plant technicians keep track of the production, detect any anomalies, monitor atmospheric parameters, and have access to all the plant operational details, including the current produced by each individual string. In more detail, data is acquired from the following devices:

1. Inverters
2. Trackers
3. Strings
4. Solar radiation sensors
5. Temperature sensors
6. Humidity sensors
7. Anemometers
8. Network analyzers
9. Energy meters (fiscal meters)
10. UPS/Emergency systems status
11. Status of all cabinet switches

Florence - Italy

The system , consisting of two sections of PV generators, is constantly monitored by maintenance technicians through a monitoring system that collects data from inverters, energy meters, interface protections and switch statuses.
We also implemented a large screen on the building's wall displaying production data and a display, at the facility entrance, showing to the public the total energy produced.
Technicians can view data in a user-friendly overview and then delve into details up to access any variable acquired data in years with a breakdown by quarter-hour intervals.
